review from electro-industrial portal SIDE-LINE - in english
Some may say three years is too much time off, after a listen to a few tracks of this release BULLOCKS! The first track seems to get you back into the specific brand of harshness this act specializes in its a down tempo track and mildly sullen. After that, they remind you that they are still bad asses with the terror EBM they present to you. As one listens on something seems a bit different, the time off has given them time to hone their kick drum which has more thud to it now to strike more fear into the hearts of the meek. All the way through this album just keeps hitting you hard with new experimentations within the song intros and the upbeat aggression they have already established in previous releases. Quite possibly the best track off the release is right before the remixes called "Inner Fight" it is more down tempo but it has some great layers to it establishing a certain type of groove to it that just sucks the listener in, to where the track needs no lyrics you get the idea of the title through the music. The remixes are by a few names we all already know and a couple of newer acts. This writer listened to the acts he had never heard first and there is a reason they were given remixes and are definitely two acts to keep an eye out for in the future of this subgenera. Another great release by this act that more Americans NEED to discover.
