Nothing Nada
Gothtronic Review

Nothing Nada is a Hungarian cyber-electro outfit consisting of Cipree, Gunhead and singer Orsolya that with Nicht Nichego deliver a very polished futurepop electro album. Nothing Nada was at first meant as a side-proejct to the much more raw EBM project Impact Pulse in which they could explore the more accessible and smooth tracks. The tracks are mostly uptempo and musicwise the electro of Nothing Nada goes towards that of Culture Kultur or Syrian. The forceful vocals of Orsolya ensure that the female fronted electro of Nothing Nada is comparable to that of Technoir or Ayria. Nothing Nada still can’t quite compete with these earlier mentioned acts but this they soon will be able to as on Nicht Nichego the band shows real quality which is remarkable since it is still a project never heard of. Not all songs are equally good but surely worth mentioning are ‘Red Armageddon’, ‘Silent Heroes’, ‘Joy’ and ‘One Two Free’. If Nothing Nada would concentrate on better songwriting the band will only be able to grow further as the music and sound is quite allright. Of ‘Red Armageddon’ also a remix by DJ Kraak has been placed on this cd and the cd furthermore has a multimedia part on which you can watch a videoclip of this song.
