Advoxya предлагает слушателям прекрасную воможность проследить развитие талантливой молодой чешской группы - Mulphia (скрывающийся под этим именем Ричард Видуна пробовал свои силы ранее в самых разнообразных роектах от техно до амбиента), существующей с 2002 года и на настоящий момент имеющей в запасе 3 записанных альбома (и работающей над новым материалом - издать который лэйбл надеется еще в этом году), первые два из которых были помещены в свое время в сеть Интернет. Ознакомившись с материалом альбомов "Dark Side" и "Bleeding" а также с высоким классом сделанных группой ремиксов на трэки от Immunology и Severe Illusion, Advoxya принимает решение пригласить группу в свой ростер, предложив ей переработать звуковую структуру и графическое оформление имеющегося в копилке материала для выпуска его на звуконосителях. Итак, что мы имеем в итоге: В итоге мы имеем динамичное дарк-электро, напоминающее мексиканцев Hocico в период 96-99 годов с альбомами "Odajo Bajo el Alma" и "Sangre Hirviente", когда в их музыке вместо драйвовых трэков преобладало направление дарк-электро и электро-гот.На альбоме Mulphia "Dark Sides" есть танцевальные трэки, но они не являются определяющими на этом альбоме, настрой которого можно выразить словами: ''I saw angels fallen from the sky I saw immortals afraid to die". Этим альбомом лэйбл открывает серию из 4-х релизов Mulphia, намеченных на этот год, которые ознакомят покупателей с одной из самой талантливой на сегодняшний момент электро-группой из чешского городка Кутна Гора. Advoxya proposes to the listeners excellent opportunity to trace the development of talented young Czech group - Mulphia (hiding himself under this name Richard Viduna who tried his forces earlier in the most diverse projects from techno to ambient), existing since 2002 and at the present moment having in the reserve of 3 recorded albums (and now working on a new material, which the lable hopes is going to publish even this year), first two of which were placed at that time on to the Internet. After becoming acquainted with the material of albums "Dark Side" and "Bleeding" and also with the high class of remixes made by the group on tracks of Immunology and Severe Illusion, Advoxya has decided to invite the group into its roster, after proposing to it to re-work the sonic structure and graphic formulation of the material for its production available in the stock on the sound carriers. So what we have as a result: As a result we have dynamic dark-electro, that resembles of Mexicans Hocico in their period 1996-99 annual with the albums "Odajo Bajo el Alma" and "Sangre Hirviente", when in their music instead of drive-tracks predominated the
direction of dark-electro and electro-goth. There are some dance tracks on the album of Mulphia "Dark Sides", but they do not determine this album, which attitude can be expressed by the words: ''I saw angels fallen from the sky I saw immortals afraid to die". With this album the label opens a series for 4th releases from Mulphia, outlined for this year, which will acquaint buyers with one of by most interested today group from the Czech legendary town Kutna Hora. Absolutely listenable album both for the goths

With MULPHIA the Hungarian-based Advoxya-Records label likes to introduce us another newcomer one-man act hailing out of the Czech Republic. I had to have a watch after the website of this act to recognize that this release is rather a kind of collection of older material of the band instead of being a new produced release. Anyway, this “Dark Sides” give a fine introduction to the internationally Electro/Industrial audience. Musically MULPHIA are based in the wide Dark Electro field featuring a constant Goth influence in all pieces. I would tend to compare them with some early works of SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS and CEPHALGY with a lesser megaseller attitude. It’s definitively not the freshest water of chosen sounds and – so I think – equipment with which the band has to cook here their musically work and I’m not sure if their use of almost forgotten sounds of about 10 to 15 years is intentional or not. The vocals are on most pieces rather natural and almost unaffected performed, while some tracks offer some well-done vocoder effects (“Dark Side”, “Into The Core”). It isn’t too much EBM-driven and thanks to the Goth influence rather the tracks tend to concentrate on compositional efforts (nice example: “Broken Down”). Not bad at all and a decent debut, but I’m sure that this act can reach a wider experience to add a bit more complexity in the programmings – also a bit more refreshing of sounds and production should help.
